Hi! I'm Michelle, owner of More Cheese Please NJ! There is nothing I love more than finding new cute & aesthetic cafe's to do work from, so I have decided to create a space where I will be reviewing various cafe's within the New Jersey and New York City area.
Today, we are working at Cafe Hesed!
Cafe Hesed has such an amazing aesthetic and atmosphere. It feels as if you're in a boujee living room. Between the wall paneling, fun couches, dim lighting, and even the fancy restroom; this place feels like home! They also play such relaxing music which adds to homey atmosphere & there are plenty of outlets near each table which is a plus if you need to stay for a bit! Definitely a great environment to get work done.

The interior design is probably my favorite part (aside from the food, but let me stay on track lol). How cute & fun is this bicycle table! There are so many "instagrammable" moments here at Cafe Hesed!
Now, time for the yummmmy content! I ordered a strawberry smoothie (not on the menu, I omitted the banana from the recipe) & I will say, it was not my favorite but that is on me for not sticking to their recipe. The smoothie was a solid 7/10, so still not bad - just not my fave! But the food??? FANTASTIC. I tried their mushroom pastry, as well as the french onion soup anddddddd WOW. Both items were 10/10, super delicious. The mushroom pastry is made with burrata cheese + mushrooms and was so flavorful - hints of garlic in there too & I love me some garlic! The french onion soup was also delightful, it was accompanied by some garlic bread which was a great touch. They have such a wide variety of food options & serve an all day brunch! Their options range from pastas, to burgers, to pizzas! I 100% recommend coming here on an empty stomach for sure.
All in all, Cafe Hesed gets a 10/10 from me! The environment is beyond ideal to work in & the customer service is great. Shout out to Bella, Laida, & Tristan for being so helpful and patient with me while ordering! This is an #OOTD I will be coming back to for sure!!
