Hi! I'm Michelle, owner of More Cheese Please NJ! There is nothing I love more than finding new cute & aesthetic cafe's to do work from, so I have decided to create a space where I will be reviewing various cafe's within the New Jersey and New York City area.
Today, we are working at Hybrid Coffee & Kitchen!
It has been a while, but I am back with another 10/10!!! I am so happy I came across this gem of a cafe here in Jersey City! Hybrid Coffee & Kitchen is the perfect spot to come get some work done. It is such a cute, modern, fun, and DELICIOUS spot!
Starting with interior - the pops of yellow, brick back splash, wooden tables, floor to ceiling windows, & fun neon sign create such a fun homey feel. The staff is also super friendly and welcoming which adds to the homey atmosphere, very easy to get comfortable here. There are only 4 tables inside, but as long as you snag a seat you are good to go. There are outlets near each table and of course free WiFi (Password: "lovecoffeelovepeople") But, I must say...my favorite part was their playlist! Music truly sets the mood and the fact that I did not have to put my headphones in once was impressive. It was the most perfectly curated R&B playlist, there was not one bad song played! No headphones needed when visiting this spot!
Now, let's get into this food and drink! I ordered the Loaded Avocado Toast & one of their drink specials, the French Toast Latte with oat milk. All I can say is wow. The picture speaks for itself, but I guess it's my job to give the details right? This loaded toast was everything and more: seasoned mashed avocado on thick toasted brioche, topped with feta cheese, sliced almonds and a sriracha and honey drizzle. I will say, if you do not like spice I would recommend getting it without the sriracha honey drizzle, but for my people who like the heat the sriracha honey is phenomenal. Now, this french toast latte??? Incredible. Featuring maple honey & cinnamon, you can't go wrong. If you haven't caught on, the food and drink did not disappoint.
Overall, I love it here. This might be my favorite #OOTD so far, I will definitely be back again! Although located in Jersey City, the cafe is on a residential street with plenty free street parking. I had such a great first experience and am confident you will too!
